Currently, Firefly Networks is searching for
top-notch individuals with the following
skill-sets and backgrounds:
MPLS/IP Traffic Engineering
Individual will have extensive experience in
IP traffic engineering, and at least one year of
hands-on experience manipulating traffic in a
large-scale complex MPLS routing
environment. Candidate must be very
familiar with IS-IS and BGP. This position
is based in McLean, Virginia, but may require as
much as 50% travel.
Senior Network Engineer
Individual will have at least five years of
ISP/ICP experience, and at least three years of
hands-on experience working as an engineer with
a very large-scale ISP backbone, and will have
experience in the deployment of MPLS for the
purposes of delivering
"next-generation"
services. This position is based in
McLean, Virginia, but may require limited
travel.
IP Systems Test Engineer
Individual will have at least five years of
ISP experience, and three years of hands-on
experience in an ISP lab environment.
Candidate must have been directly involved in
the testing of advanced MPLS functionality on
both Cisco and Juniper equipment, and be very
familiar with commonly used test
equipment. Ideally, the candidate will
also have design and implementation experience
in these areas.
VoIP Engineer
Candidate will have extensive experience
configuring Cisco CPE equipment for VoIP
services. Strong familiarity with MGCP,
H323, QoS mechanisms, and IP telephony required.
Data Center / Co-location Analyst
Individual will have extensive knowledge of
co-location centers, exchange points, carrier
'meet-me' facilities, and their operators
globally. Candidate will also possess a
very strong knowledge of carriers and the issues
and processes associated with the provisioning
of intra- and inter-facility connections.
